Parent Levy
Our $100 parent levy per family is designed to encourage more families to get involved and help during our Friday night competitions. The levy is refunded to families at the completion of the season when volunteering duties have been completed: signing on as an Age Manager or completing two 1.5-hour canteen or BBQ shifts throughout the season. If only one shift is completed, a half refund of $50 will be given. If no shifts are completed, the levy will not be refunded.
Why the levy?
Little Athletics is a community-driven sport, and we rely on volunteers to ensure everything runs smoothly and fairly. In recent years, we’ve had to hire teenage paid helpers to fill a number of duties, which adds extra costs to the Club. The funds from the levy will help cover some of these expenses, but more importantly, we hope it encourages more parents to step up and make our Club the best it can be for our kids.
Cap on group numbers
We limit Age Group numbers to provide a more manageable and enjoyable experience for all our athletes and families.
Smaller groups equates to more time at events, and shorter wait times, allowing children to stay active and engaged throughout the evening. This also helps maintain our family-focused environment.
By keeping group sizes manageable, we can continue to foster a positive atmosphere where everyone can enjoy athletics to its fullest.
Season 2025/26
Our season starts on Friday, 10 October and runs through to March, with a break over the Christmas/January school holidays.
Competition dates and other events will be published to the Centre Calendar when they become available. Friday nights begin with a 5:45pm warm up and a 6:00pm start time.
Fees
Fees for Season 2025/26 are as follows:
$195.00 1st child
$185.00 2nd and subsequent children
