After much consideration, the Committee has decided to cancel this Friday’s (24th) competition night. No other club in our zone holds a competition night on the Friday of the Zone Competition and now we know why – the reduced number of athletes, volunteers and committee members make it impossible to run.
We wish all the zone competitors good luck and look forward to seeing all athletes back at Duffy’s for the last three competition nights for 2017 – Dec 1, Dec 8 and Dec 15.
Of course the fun does not end there. Little Athletics resumes in January 2018 for the second half of the season. First date back is January 19 and Club Championships are February 2.
